Kathmandu, Jan 1: Vice-President Nanda Bahadur Pun has expressed his confidence that the current crisis in the country would get an outlet soon.
Receiving a memorandum submitted by the Reporters Club Nepal here today, VP Pun reiterated, “I am confident that the current snafu would be resolved at the earliest and the country moves in the path of development, peace and prosperity.”
Stating that the accomplishment of peace process and promulgation of the new constitution was a matter of pride to the country, Pun urged for the unity among the political parties and public for the effective resolution to agitation being waged by various political parties dissenting the new national charter.
He shared that the government was holding talks with the disgruntled Madheshi leaders acknowledging the gravity of the issue.
VP Pun, on the occasion, also appealed to the political parties to be effortful in providing outlet to the issues. RSS
